If Port of Vancouver’s Roberts Bank Terminal 2 is built, the damage will be done

The Port of Vancouver’s plan to add container port capacity at Roberts Bank in Delta, BC is to build a massive, new artificial island in the ecologically-sensitive Salish Sea.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, once it is built, the damage will be “permanent, irreversible, and, continuous.”

Fortunately, GCT Global Container Terminals has a better plan that minimizes the impact on the environment.
